Dear Folks,
I traveled from the East Coast to Arizona with my sister on a 12 day journey that took us along the coasts. Great trip.
While I was gone spring really arrived in the garden.
Johnny Jump-Ups, a-bloom everywhere along with a mass of Nasturtiums. The Amaryllis is one of the prodigy of a bulb my father gave me back in the early 80s, simply call Dad's Amaryllis, and one of the few ornamentals in our gardens.

If you like listening to music or audio books, check out one of my favorite sites OTRCAT.com.
There is a lot of benefit to just listening rather than watching something. Many times you get more: more out of the program, it is more enjoyable, and you can treat it as background entertainment while doing something else.
Here you can find thousands of old time radio programs from comedy to holiday to drama and more. Some of my favorites I have on my computer and can put on my iPod nano are the old fashioned detective stories, like the original "Christmas Carol" show by Campbell Playhouse, "Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar" and "The Shadow".
There is something wonderful about listening to radio that is not the same as watching tv or streaming video. You can gently multi-task while enjoying some great stories.
Right now John has some fun "tax" programs. CDs of the programs are regularly donated to various groups and organizations, he offers free compilation sampler discs with each other, and the value is awesome. An MP3 cd can hold 50 hours and costs $5.00 or just a little more.
Check them out.
Have a great day in the garden!
